From my interview with Kurt Neumann of clients the BoDeans... "Sometimes songs come to me in dreams. I'll wake up, grab the guitar, and try to recreate what I just dreamt. "One time I dreamt that I was sitting on the side of the stage watching Sheryl Crow sing this song. When I woke up, I realized it was actually a song I had been wanting to write, and a theme I had been wanting to write about. So I was able to figure it out, and put it together. That became "Arms" on the "Still" album. "Another time I dreamt I was walking around Downtown Austin, and hearing John Mayer playing somewhere. I kept turning corners and walking down streets trying to get closer to where this music was coming from. When I woke up, I constructed what I could recall of the song from the dream. That became "Absolutely" on the "American Made" album." -- Hire Bands To Fans to tell your story. Message me for more information. Comments are closed.
